dc.description.abstractBased on small amplitude wave theory approximate equations are evaluated for determining the coefficients of shoaling, refraction, bottom friction, bottom percolation and viscous dissipation at breaking. The results obtainEd. by these equations agree within the reasonable range with the results based on numerical integration. These equations will be useful for field engineers for easy application.
