dc.description.abstractMarine fishery activity of the west coast of India is discussed. Sea fish production from the west coast of India makes three fourths of total fish production from Indian coasts. Kerala accounts for the largest production of fish in India and this could be increased by 5 to 10 times with proper use of modern technology in combination with oceanographic research
